SPANISH giants Real Madrid are planning a $60 million bid for Liverpool and England midfielder Steven Gerrard, according to a report in London.
The Sun says that Real president Florentino Perez has Gerrard, 28, at the top of his shopping list for the end of gthe current season.
The newspaper quotes a Madrid source as saying: "It's no secret Gerrard is a player Perez and technical director Jorge Valdano admire."
"There is a shortlist for next season and Gerrard is the first name on it."
