necesitaba meter un linux a una portátil, indagando por la red me pareció bien PCLINUXOS, entonces la baje y probé desde usblive, los resultados fueron excelentes, reconocimiento de todo, ni un solo error, ni siquiera la wifi me dio problemas.
en la web oficial Dude! Sweeet! » PCLinuxOS se puede bajar dos tipos de escritorios KDE y el LXDE este ultipo para maquinitas ya algo viejitas, baje la KDE pero me sorprendió la diferencia tanto óptica como ligereza he instalación fácil del mismo, realmente la recomiendo, cabe aclarar que y modestia aparte, por tener ya mis años con linux se me hace fácil ya muchas distros, creo que acta para novatos es mas creo que puedo recomendar esta distro entre Linuxmint y el Ubuntu.
lo bueno de esta distro es que trae el Synaptic, también fácil configuración de wifi, cuando bootea se puede instalar desde el mismo booteo o probarla en modo vivo, instalación muy facil prácticamente siguiente, siguiente, al finalizar están instalados los codes.
lo malo, los idiomas hay que configurarlos, no hay servidor en costa rica, en algunos casos para la navegación es algo tiesa porque hay que dar hasta dos click, puede que sea harware esta ultima, KDE, trae un menú tipo windows, todo en mismo menú por secciones, el mismo menú es algo feo, funcional y ordenado por categorias como todos los linux, pero metido en un solo menu.
bueno eso fue lo que vi de momento, pero puedo dar una recomendación a cualquier novato, si linuxmint o ubuntu no les gusta pues PClinuxOS es una exelente alternativa.
